Our Enemies Will Stumble And Fall

By Lizzie Ducking | Submitted On December 21, 2011

Our enemies will stumble and fall means that whatever anyone say or do against us will backfire on him and it will in no way harm us. God is our shield and protector and He surrounds us.

Psalm 125:1-2 reads those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever more. I can look back over my life and see when people tried to harm me but God never failed to bring me out victoriously. I have overcome everyone that has risen up against me and the Lord has put me in very pleasant places since their attack against me. This is what the Lord will do for those who trust in Him and call upon His name.

Isaiah 54:17 no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteous is from Me, says the Lord. If God ordained this for His servants what more will He do for His sons and daughters? Yes He will cause our enemies to stumble and fall. The only thing that is needed is for us to condemn what others say or do against us and God will do the rest. David said in Psalm 27:2 when the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes. They stumbled and fell. He also said that he looked for his enemies but they were not there. God will remove our enemies far from us if we will keep our hope in Him.

There will be false witnesses against us but God said in Isaiah 54:15 indeed they shall surely assemble but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. He further said in verse 16 behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire who brings forth an instrument for his work and I have created the spoiler to destroy. God created all of us and that includes our enemies but their works against us, He will destroy.

I have not lived a picture perfect life, I have had many trials and tribulations but I can honestly say, the Lord is my helper and He has delivered me. Sometimes it may seem like it is too much to bear but the Lord will not allow us to go through more than we are able to bear.

David said in Psalm 23 the Lord prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies. David was accustom to having enemies but he was also accustom to the deliverance of the Lord. He said the Lord prepares a table before him in the presence of his enemies. Normally after a victory is won there will be a celebration and in that celebration every need will be met and our enemies will see it and grit their teeth.

Our deliverance is the enemy stumble and if we keep our truth in the Lord, the enemy will stumble every time.
