Protection Spell

This is a simple version of the Fiery Wall of Protection spell, using only candles and oil.

There is no evil in the Universe that Archangel St. Michael can’t take on! A messenger of God, a patron of protection, a master of hard cases – he and his army remain victorious in the battle against evil. He is also called on as a protector of military men, policemen and all armed forces. The Archangel St. Michael Protection spell can be applied to several people, items, situations, against your enemies, or anything that requires protective and evil eliminating forces.

The Archangel St Michael Fiery Wall of Protection candle spell is recommended for any work that calls for serious protection.

You will need:
Fiery Wall of Protection oil
1 white utility candle
1 black utility candle
7 purple utility candles
1 red Saint Michael vigil candle or plain red candle and a holy card or print out from the Internet of St Michael to place with the red candle
Heat safe dish or ashtray
Paper
Protective herbs or powder - optional

NOTE: if you don't have all these colored candles, just use white utility candles. That's how it was done in the old days ;) And lets face it, if you need protection NOW, you can't waste a minute. Get the help you need!

Anoint white candle with oil and place at the back. This candle represents the person who is in need of protection. Write their name on it. Anoint the purple candles with oil and dedicate each one to a saint or deity that you feel will keep you safe from all harm. Place these candles in a straight line in front of your white candle. This will be your fiery wall. Anoint and place the red candle in front of the wall of purple candles. This is Saint Michael, who defends us against all evil with his fiery sword. Place the black candle in front of and away from the other candles, don't anoint it. This candle represents the person, negative thoughts, malicious gossip or evil entities that you feel are working against you. Write the name of the person, situation or feeling that is causing you harm on a piece of paper. Put it under the black candle. If using herbs or powder, sprinkle it around your white candle.

Now light the purple candles, asking each saint or deity for their help. Light your candle. Light Saint Michael's candle, then the black candle. Now state what it is you want removed from your life (don't wish evil on anyone, this is a positive spell, think of your karma, just ask that they or it no longer have any power over you) now say the prayer to St Michael or a prayer of your own, and ask for him to guard you and your loved ones.

St Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all other evil spirits who roam the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Let the small candles burn down. As the black candle burns down, light the paper on fire and place in a heat safe dish. As it burns, strongly proclaim that this person or problem, no longer has power over you, that it is removed from your life.

If using a St. Michael vigil candle, you can light it each day and say the prayer to St Michael, until the candle burns down.
