TIMING YOUR HOODOO WORKINGS BY THE HANDS OF THE CLOCK
Also known as working by the clock.
Working by the Clock:
A term referring to using the placement of the hands
on a clock: moving downwards is for
reversal/removal/banishing works; moving upwards is for
positive/attraction/ drawing in works. A spell to
cause increase (waxing) should be done between the hours of
6 and 12, when the hour hand of the clock is moving upward,
and for decrease (waning), when the hour hand is moving
downward, for example between 12 and 6
In hoodoo, you may use the hands of the clock to help time an attracting or banishing spell. Working by the hands of the clock is a lot more common that working by the moon sign or by the planetary hours. (but hoodoo workers influenced by European ceremonial magic will be more likely to use those)
For an Attraction or Drawing Type Spell: Start your spell when both clock hands are rising (going upward)6:31 am to 12:00 noon, and 6:31 pm to 12 midnight.
For a Banishing or Reversing Type Spell: Hoodoo workings of a negative or darker nature are best performed when both hands are descending (going downward).
